INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
Teaching and facilitating access to computers

Our current society revolves around digital technology and information technology. The development of information technology represents a major asset for scientific progress. In particular, it has enabled the refinement of automation techniques and communications systems. Today, computers are everywhere: depending on their computing power and storage capacity, they are used to manage data from gigantic government files, to carry out research programs requiring very high computing power, or even, more modestly, to keep household accounts.
The major concern in Africa, and particularly in Togo, is that the population lacks access to this knowledge, nor does it have access to the daily use of these tools (computers, etc.). In many villages, there are dedicated computer classrooms, but these rooms remain empty, not for lack of teaching.
Our missions:
- Provide access to this knowledge to people in remote villages (teaching).
- Conducted market studies to determine the location of a new IT center (bringing together several villages). Implemented a project to build a new IT center.
